It\u2019s only one of the first pics uploaded by another co-founder &#8211; Kevin Systrom. It\u2019s titled \u2018Test\u2019 and you can see his dog as well as a foot in a flip-flop. The foot belongs to and is tagged as <em>@<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/nicole\/\"><em>Nicole<\/em><\/a><em> <\/em>\u2013 the wife of Kevin Systrom, Nicole Systrom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a common mistake, so be aware!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>When was the first Instagram post made?<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Both Mike Krieger and Kevin Systrom made their first posts on July 16<sup>th<\/sup>, 2010. You can read more about the first posts in <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/4408374\/instagram-anniversary\/\">this article<\/a> from Time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Where was the first post taken?<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The exact location is unclear, since Instagram didn\u2019t have location tagging at the time, but it is clear that it shows Pier 38 of South Beach Harbor, near San Francisco.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>What was the second-ever post on Instagram?<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-instagram wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/H\/\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The second ever post is also made by Mike Krieger. It\u2019s a picture of Kevin Systrom in front of his computer. Both posts made by Krieger used heavy filters which indicates the early days of Instagram when everyone did that.
