Sometimes, the numbers differ, when one or more accounts view the story more than once: The number of story views will be higher. Most times, however, the numbers are the same, when all accounts view the story once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unfortunately, at this time, there is no way to know how many times each account replayed or rewatched your story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nJust below the number of views is the list of \u2018Viewers\u2019. This is the list of accounts that have seen your story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The list is a table comprising rows of accounts with three columns depicting the profile picture<\/em> (plus username<\/em> and name<\/em>), a three-dot<\/em> icon, and a paper plane<\/em> icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n- Tap the profile picture or name<\/em> to go to the account\u2019s profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Tap the three-dot icon<\/em> beside the name of an account to hide the story from only that account. That account or person will be unable to view the story again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Tap the paper plane icon<\/em> to send a direct message.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
ADDENDUM<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\nAlthough, you can search through accounts that liked your feed posts, you cannot<\/strong> search through who viewed your stories. You have to manually flip through the Viewers list to confirm if an account did or did not view your story.<\/p>\n\n\n\nSimilarly, you cannot<\/strong> tell if a viewer screenshots a story. Instagram only sends screenshot alerts for screenshots of Direct Messages with photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
