In addition, their profile photo or name <strong>may be shown<\/strong> <em>in the Page<\/em> or in an <em>ad about the Page<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In contrast, when a user follows your page, it is to subliminally register interest in the Page and allow updates and content made by the Page to show in the <strong>user\u2019s news feed<\/strong>. There is no public show of support for the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, a user who likes your page can unfollow it to stop seeing your Page\u2019s updates in their news feed without <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/help\/227905267225251\">unliking your page<\/a>. A follower who unfollows your page completely drops any tether to your Page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most active accounts that engage with your Page by <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">frequently<\/span> <em>sharing<\/em>, <em>liking<\/em>, <em>commenting<\/em>, and <em>reacting to<\/em> your Page\u2019s updates and content are your <strong>Top Fans<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Facebook allows Page administrators to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/help\/340991076472172\">turn on\/off as well as award\/withdraw<\/a><strong> Top Fan<\/strong> and <strong>Top Commenter <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/help\/215734232362020\"><strong>badges<\/strong><\/a> to eligible followers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Enable_and_Disable_Page_Followers_on_Facebook\"><\/span><strong>How to Enable and Disable Page Followers on Facebook<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A page <strong>cannot disable likes or followers<\/strong> while active.
